KYB Suspension Strut Cartridge P/N:364021

Restore factory-tuned front damping with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut Cartridge (P/N 364021), a nitrogen gas-charged replacement gas cartridge that installs in the front strut position. It fits the 1984-1985 and 1991-1992 BMW 318I, 1991-1992 BMW 318IS, 1986-1988 BMW 325, 1984-1987 BMW 325E, 1988-1991 BMW 325I, 1988-1991 BMW 325IS and 1988-1991 BMW M3 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.

• Twin-tube gas-charged design: The Excel-G is a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube cartridge made on the same KYB OE assembly lines with OE-quality components, calibrated to help restore the vehicle's original designed control and handling rather than change it.
• Triple-lip fluid seal: Uses a triple lip fluid seal to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
• Vehicle-specific damping valves: Hand-assembled in-house damping valves are tuned to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
• Supports electronic safety systems: Helps keep electronic safety systems performing as the manufacturer intended by working with the suspension, brakes and tires.

To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5053), and protecting the units with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101).
