Restore your Toyota Avalon's original ride control, stability, and handling with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 339139, a nitrogen gas-charged unit that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004 Toyota Avalon (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details) in the rear left position. Excel-G is built to restore the vehicle's original, designed performance rather than change it — earning KYB its OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design: made on the same KYB OE assembly lines, using the same OE-quality components to help restore the designed control and handling of your Avalon.
Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific, hand-assembled damping valves: correctly manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Strong, thick strut bodies and brackets: minimize flex to help maintain correct alignment in all conditions, and help keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed.

To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5175), and protecting your new struts from dirt, debris, and salt with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101).
