Help restore the designed ride control, stability and handling with the KYB strut assembly 341434, an Excel-G gas strut for the front right position. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1996-2001 Acura RL, all engines, and the listed application uses one.
KYB supplies shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers. The Excel-G is built on the same KYB OE assembly lines with the same OE-quality components, and it is calibrated to restore the original, designed performance rather than change it. That is why KYB classifies it as OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket).
- Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube construction with an internal rebound bumper.
- Triple lip fluid seal: designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
- Vehicle-specific valving: hand-assembled, in-house damping valves manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
- Rigid body and brackets: a thick strut body and brackets are designed to minimize flex and help maintain correct alignment.

This KYB front strut assembly is sold individually. Replacing both front struts together is recommended for balanced handling. KYB recommends new strut mounts (SM5289) to reduce the chance of noise and vibration, and a KYB strut boot (SB108) to protect the new strut from dirt, debris and salt.
