Description

Keep your truck's front end controlled and fade-free with the KYB Gas-a-just Front Suspension Strut 551133, a high-pressure monotube gas unit that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2013 Ford F-150 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Its components and valving are designed specifically for the F-150, adding extra damping for trucks that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.

High-pressure monotube design: separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response.
Two working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving.
Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth surface that helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
Up to 25% more damping over original-equipment shocks, with higher gas pressure designed to improve steering response.
