Firm up body control and sharpen steering feel with the KYB Gas-a-just Suspension Strut KG6799, a high-pressure monotube gas strut that installs as a direct-fit rear replacement for the 1994-1998 Toyota Supra (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details). It's offered as an OE monotube replacement to help restore your vehicle's original ride and handling capabilities.

• Two working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.
• High-pressure monotube design: separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response; the higher gas pressure responds quickly to improve steering response.
• Adds up to 25% more damping over original equipment shocks, with additional damping over the OE design for vehicles that work, tow, or run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth finish that helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.

Designed to help keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as intended. KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (SM5186) and protecting the strut with a KYB Strut Boot (SB104).
