Signs that a tie rod end may need replacing include loose or wandering steering, extra play in the steering wheel, a clunk or knock when turning, and uneven tire wear. If a worn tie rod end is the cause on a 2013 Nissan Altima, for example, MS30603 replaces it at the front left outer position. A wheel alignment is recommended after installation.
