Swap a worn front right upper arm and its ball joint in one step with the Mevotech TTX control arm, part number CTXMS25118, a forged steel control arm with ball joint built for toughness and designed for an easier install. • Maximum toughness: patented sintered bearings are designed for longer-lasting performance.
• Locks out contaminants: a patented sealing ring locks the boot onto the ball joint housing for a tight seal.
• Stronger build: the forged steel control arm has a filled-in hole/recess, increased gauge, a reinforced ball joint head and a thicker cross section for added durability.
• Increased stiffness: the bushings are upgraded with a solid cross section and added knurling for more stiffness and durability.

Installation and service are straightforward. The ball joint secures to the vehicle with the part-specific slotted castle nut and easy snap cotter pin provided. A 180-degree SAE grease fitting is included for routine servicing, and the fasteners carry pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to help them stay secure and resist vibration. Repel-TEK™ surface treatment helps resist rust build-up.

Signs an upper control arm or ball joint may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear and a torn ball joint boot. Have the suspension inspected to find the cause before replacing parts.
