This Mevotech TTX control arm comes from a line built for high-usage commercial and passenger vehicles, SUVs, fleets and working trucks. Because it is a control arm and ball joint assembly, the joint comes with the arm. The TTX line also features Mevotech's Labor Saver™ designs, tools and hardware, which are intended to make installations faster and easier.
- Joint design: Patented sintered bearings and an application-specific ball stud system with a larger sphere, designed for longer-lasting performance.
- Bushings: Upgraded with a solid cross section and added knurling for increased stiffness and durability.
- Service and hardware: A 180-degree and 90-degree SAE grease fitting is included, along with an application-specific pinch bolt and locking nut with pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to help keep fasteners secure against vibration.
- Construction: Stamped steel construction built to OE-level specifications or better. The ball joint has a thicker, stronger flange designed to resist deformation during installation. A Repel-TEK™ surface treatment helps prevent rust build-up.
A lower control arm or its ball joint may need replacing if you notice clunking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear, or play in the ball joint. Other worn parts can cause these symptoms too, so inspect the suspension first. Have the wheel alignment checked after installation.
