Built for hard-working trucks and SUVs, the Mevotech TTX CTXMS401206 is a front right lower control arm with ball joint and a direct-fit replacement for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150, 2018-2024 Ford Expedition and 2018-2024 Lincoln Navigator. Mevotech designs every Mevotech TTX control arm for high-usage commercial and passenger vehicles, SUVs, fleets and working trucks. The TTX line's Labor Saver designs, tools and hardware are intended to make installations faster and easier.
This Mevotech TTX lower control arm pivots on its bushings at the sub-frame. Its ball joint connects the arm to the steering knuckle, which helps locate the wheel as the suspension moves.
- Patented sintered bearings: designed for longer-lasting performance.
- Integri-Boot design: built into the ball joint to help seal out moisture and contaminants.
- Knurled rubber bushings: upgraded bushings with knurling that secures the control arm bushing to the sub-frame.
- Thicker, stronger flange: the ball joint flange is designed to resist deformation during installation.
To install, secure the ball joint to the vehicle with the part-specific slotted castle nut and the easy snap cotter pin, both included. A 90-degree SAE grease fitting is also supplied for servicing. Fasteners carry pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to help them stay secure and resist vibration. The stamped steel construction meets or exceeds OE specs, and a Repel-TEK surface treatment helps prevent rust build-up.
