Smooth out a tired ride and help keep your tires planted with the Monroe Restore 210214 rear suspension shock absorber — a MONROE shock absorber built as a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma (All). This nitrogen gas-charged, telescopic unit uses a passive, progressive valving design intended to filter out noise, vibration and harshness while helping maintain handling and control.

  • Nitrogen gas charge: helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade for improved ride and handling.
  • Banded piston: helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces for smoother operation.
  • Steel body and cylinder: black painted finish, with a metal dust shield included to help shield the piston rod.
  • Loop (eyelet) bushing mounts at the upper and lower ends; mounting hardware included.

Specs: 12.64 in (321.1 mm) compressed, 20.24 in (514.1 mm) extended, 7.6 in stroke, and a 1.77 in (45 mm) body diameter. As a MONROE rear shock absorber the Tacoma uses two per axle; this is sold individually, so order 2 for a complete, balanced rear pair. Country of origin: China.
