Monroe Shocks & Struts 911506 rear shock absorber for the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles damps rear suspension movement. It is designed to restore the original factory drivability and handling control of light trucks and SUVs.
- OESpectrum light truck shock absorber that filters out impact-related noise, vibration and harshness
- Nitrogen gas charge keeps the tire in contact with the road and reduces aeration and shock fade
- All-weather fluid with additives for extreme temperatures that help reduce oil breakdown
- Free-floating divider piston separates the shock fluid from the high-pressure gas
- Fluon-banded piston seals evenly against the pressure tube
- High-strength housing and a hardened piston rod
Quick facts

- Fits: the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles
- Position: Rear
- Condition: New
Fluid on the shock body, a bouncy or floating ride and a clunk over bumps can mean a rear shock is worn. Worn springs, bushings, mounts or tires can be behind these signs too, so find the cause before buying. Rear shocks are normally replaced as a pair; this listing is one shock, and the rear axle takes one on each side.
Fits
The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 2000-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe and the 2014-2020 Chevrolet Suburban are among the vehicles this rear shock absorber fits. If your vehicle is not one of these, look up its year and model on the Buyer's Guide tab.
