MOOG Chassis Products Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:RK620173
$158.99

Give your front suspension a fresh pivot point with the MOOG Chassis RK620173 Control Arm with Ball Joint, a front right upper assembly engineered for structural strength and corrosion protection. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1995-2005 Chevrolet Blazer, the 1992-2005 GMC Jimmy and the 1984-2004 Chevrolet S10. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications; see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.

The control arm links the steering knuckle to the chassis and lets the wheel travel up and down. The ball joint lets the knuckle pivot as you steer. MOOG builds this unit with these features:

  • Carbon fiber-reinforced bearing: A patent-pending carbon fiber-reinforced bearing is paired with induction-hardened studs. It is designed to reduce socket friction compared with typical non-reinforced bearings, for longer socket life.
  • Hardened studs: The studs are induction hardened to maximize strength, resist breakage and improve fatigue life.
  • Greaseable socket and boot seal: New lubricant can be added to flush out contaminants, which makes maintenance easier. A pre-installed dust boot seal acts as a barrier against dirt and water.
  • Corrosion protection: Specially engineered coatings are applied to metal surfaces to inhibit premature deterioration from rain, snow, salt and road grime.

The bushings come pre-installed, with stiffness optimized to help inhibit noise and support a comfortable ride. The assembly also ships with the hardware needed for installation. Precision tolerances are intended to make installation and steering alignment easier. A laser-etched ID marks each arm as genuine MOOG.
