Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:99-00872A
Nugeon 99-01843B front left brake caliper for the 2011-2015 Kia Optima clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the front left wheel. This Nugeon brake caliper is remanufactured and sold as a single caliper.
Pulling to one side under braking, brake fluid around the caliper or pads that wear unevenly can mean a disc brake caliper is sticking or leaking. Before you replace it, rule out worn pads, a damaged brake hose and a fluid leak elsewhere in the system, since those can give a similar feel.
This caliper fits the 2011-2015 Kia Optima, which takes one on the front left. The front right is a separate part and is ordered separately; the two are normally replaced together.
Fit and size
Build and materials
One caliper with its mounting bracket, caliper slides, dust boots, caliper and pad hardware, a bleeder screw with its cap, and crush washers. Brake pads, anti-squeal shims, wear sensors and bracket mounting bolts are not included, so plan on new bracket bolts because the old ones may not be reusable.

Is this 2011-2015 Kia Optima brake caliper for the left or right side?
It is the front left. Nugeon 99-01843B fits the 2011-2015 Kia Optima on that side; the front right needs its own caliper, ordered separately.
What does the Nugeon caliper come with besides the housing?
Nugeon 99-01843B includes the mounting bracket, slides, dust boots, pad hardware, a bleeder screw with its cap and crush washers. Brake pads and bracket mounting bolts are not included.
What size is the piston on this front left brake caliper?
The single steel piston is 60 mm (2.36 in) in outside diameter, and the caliper is a floating type.
How can I tell if a front left caliper is leaking or sticking?
Brake fluid around the caliper or its hose connection, or the car pulling to one side when braking, can point to a sticking or leaking caliper. Brakes are a safety system, so have a shop inspect it promptly.
What fitting connects the brake hose to this caliper?
Nugeon 99-01843B uses a banjo bolt inlet fitting with an M10-1.0 x 23.4 inlet port thread, and crush washers are included.
