This MOOG CHASSIS tie rod end belongs to the QuickSteer line, whose chassis parts are designed and tested to help bring steering and handling back to their original performance.

It is designed for OE fit and function. Precision tolerances are intended to make installation and steering alignment easier.

• Pressed-in cover plate: A patented cover plate seals out debris and minimizes looseness to reduce bearing wear. A premium boot keeps out contaminants.
• Greaseable socket: Lets you add new lubricant to flush out contaminants, which helps reduce corrosion and wear.
• Problem Solver Gusher bearing: A metal-to-metal design provides strength and lets grease flow across the bearing surface for reduced friction.
• Heat-treated ball stud: Heat treated to match or exceed OE requirements, to inhibit premature failure and improve fatigue strength. A Belleville preload washer helps keep the bearing package tight as the bearings wear.

The tie rod end is made of forged alloy steel for durability. MOOG engineers test it throughout the design and development process.
