Rancho Steering Damper P/N:RS5410
Rancho RS5542 front steering stabilizer bracket for the 2002-2004 Ford Excursion and other vehicles holds a dual steering stabilizer in place. Also sold as a steering damper bracket, it suits off-roading, towing and hauling, and street performance use.
Steering shake or wandering can come from a worn tie rod end, a tired ball joint, an out-of-balance tire or a weak stabilizer too, so find the cause before buying a new bracket. A cracked, bent or rusted bracket, or a stabilizer that sits loose on it, can mean the bracket needs replacing.
This bracket fits the 2002-2004 Ford Excursion, the 1999-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty and the 1999-2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty, and is designed for use with Rancho RS5000 steering stabilizers. The front end takes one bracket.
