Tame the trail and smooth out the highway with the Rancho RS7MT Suspension Shock Absorber (RS77326), a monotube shock built to dissipate heat for extreme off-road use and larger wheel and tire packages. It's a direct-fit front replacement for the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler and the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment. Designed to fit right out of the box with application-specific mounting, it installs without extra sleeves or hardware.

  • Deflective Disc Valving: digressive, linear or progressive tuning based on the application for precise handling on- and off-road.
  • Strong and durable: 14mm hardened chrome piston rod resists scuffs and corrosion, with double-welded loops at stress areas and a hot form reserve tube.
  • Handles temperature swings: large 2-in. monotube body filled with all-weather fluid withstands internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F, while a full-floating dividing piston and high-pressure nitrogen gas reduce aeration and fade.
  • Smoother ride: an internal rebound bumper, shouldered rubber bushings and a PTFE-banded piston help reduce noise, vibration and harshness.

A large 46mm fluon-banded piston and integrated dirt-wiper sealing system keep dirt out for consistent control. Finished in black satin with the Rancho red logo and backed by Rancho's Limited Lifetime Warranty. For extra protection, add shock boot RS1952 or RS1961.

Frequently Asked Questions

What vehicles does the RS77326 fit?

It's a front shock for the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler and the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the correct application for your vehicle.

Is this a monotube shock?

Yes. The RS7MT is a monotube design with a large 2-in. body and all-weather fluid that helps it run cooler for extreme off-road use and larger wheel and tire packages.

What position does this shock mount in?

This is a front shock absorber. Shocks are best replaced as a matched pair on the same axle for balanced handling; this listing is for one unit.

Does it require special installation hardware?

No. It's designed to fit right out of the box with application-specific mounting, so no installing sleeves or extra hardware is needed.

Is a shock boot included?

No. For added protection against dirt and debris, Rancho offers shock boot RS1952 or RS1961, which can be purchased separately.
