This Rancho shock absorber uses the brand's exclusive Cross Tuned technology to help improve overall handling and performance both on and off road.

• Cross Tuned technology: pairs an exclusive rebound valving system with an advanced compression phase, while Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned for each vehicle to help reduce initial low-speed impacts and minimize a rough ride.
• Strong and durable build: 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, a 35mm sintered iron piston and a polyvinyl protective boot.
• Handles temperature extremes: large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation, rated to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248°F.
• Reduces fade: nitrogen gas pressurized to 150 PSI to minimize the air-to-oil mixture and help reduce damping fade and foaming.

A vehicle-specific Compression Control Valve regulates fluid transfer to help maintain motion control, while a polyurethane rebound bumper, rubber bushings and a fluon-banded piston work to absorb ride harshness.
