Sealed Power Engine Piston Set P/N:H875CP (Pack of 6)
Sealed Power H675CP engine piston for the 1989-1995 Ford Thunderbird V6 3.8L and other vehicles transfers combustion force to the connecting rod. These Sealed Power hypereutectic pistons come as a cast set with a recessed head.
Worn pistons or rings can show up as blue exhaust smoke, rising oil use or low compression. Worn rings, valves or bores give some of the same symptoms, so with the engine disassembled, measure the bores against the 3.8110 in spec and look for scoring before you replace the pistons.
It fits the 1989-1995 Ford Thunderbird V6 3.8L and the 1989-1990 Mercury Cougar V6 3.8L, and both cars take six pistons.
