SHOCK ABSORBER KIT

Soak up the trail and steady the highway with the TeraFlex 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shock Kit (MPN 1545100), a Vehicle Specific Shock set engineered, valved, and tuned for extreme off-road performance while retaining a smooth on-road ride. It's built specifically for the JK Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited running a 2.5" lift, and a proprietary in-house velocity valve is tuned to react in sync with TeraFlex suspension systems and lift kits.

• Robust twin-tube design: geared toward hardcore off-road use, with an oversized outer tube that protects the inner tube — a dent in the outer tube won't affect the shock's function — and a longer stroke travel than monotube shocks.
• Induction-hardened, triple-chrome plated rod: paired with an oil block and seal that keep internal fluids contained; a large-diameter piston helps lower internal operating temperatures.
• JK-specific mounting: Front uses stem/eyelet, Rear uses bar pin/eyelet, with double-welded shock eyelets and premium-quality rubber bushings.
• Durable black e-dipped finish: resists salt and other corrosives, and an internal travel limiter minimizes the impact of over-compression.
