Standard Ignition Accelerator Pedal Sensor P/N:APS647
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition APS106 accelerator pedal sensor for the 2004-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles reads pedal position and passes it to the ECU. The ECU uses that data to control the throttle.
A worn accelerator pedal sensor can show up as hesitant or uneven throttle response, reduced power or a warning light. The throttle body, the wiring and the connector can be behind these signs too, so find the cause before buying a new sensor.
The 2004-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 2004-2005 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2004-2005 Chevrolet Tahoe all take this pedal sensor, and so do many other vehicles. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
