Description

Keep your automatic transmission shifting on command with the Standard Ignition Automatic Transmission Control Solenoid TCS186. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2009 Ford F-150, 2009-2017 Ford E-350 Super Duty and 2009-2017 Ford E-450 Super Duty; see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list. This electro-hydraulic solenoid mounts inside the transmission and, on a signal from the control module, positions its pintle to block or vent fluid pressure through the valve body.

100% copper winding: supports positive valve actuation on command.
Precision-ground pintle: moves freely to block or vent fluid pressure.
OE-matched resistance and inductance: for proper fit, form, and function.
Stainless steel filter screen: helps prevent contamination of the valve components.

The solenoid uses a rectangular connector with three male blade terminals and a bolt-mount design with three mounting holes. Seals and mounting bracket(s) are included; a wiring harness and additional hardware are not. If a failed transmission control solenoid is the cause of harsh, erratic, or delayed shifting, this replaces it. Country of origin: Mexico.
