Standard Ignition Brake Fluid Level Sensor P/N:FLS-12
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition FLS-129 brake fluid level sensor for the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles monitors the brake fluid level at the master cylinder.
A brake fluid warning light that stays on, or comes on while the fluid level looks normal, can mean the level sensor is failing. That light alone does not prove the sensor is at fault, since a slow leak that drops the fluid can light it as well.
The 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 2009-2017 Chevrolet Traverse and the 2009-2017 GMC Acadia take this sensor, along with many other Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac and Saturn models.
