Standard Ignition Clutch Starter Safety Switch P/N:NS-529
Keep the starter from cranking until the clutch pedal is down with the Standard Ignition Clutch Starter Safety Switch NS-253. This safety interlock switch is a direct-fit replacement for the 1985-1988 Chevrolet Spectrum, 1989 Geo Spectrum, 1989-1994 Isuzu Amigo, 1985-1989 Isuzu I-Mark, and 1986-2001 Isuzu Trooper (All engines).
Mounted at the clutch pedal, the switch closes the starter circuit only when the pedal is fully depressed, so the engine cannot be cranked while the clutch is engaged.
If a worn or failed clutch starter safety switch is the cause of a no-crank condition or a starter that engages without the clutch depressed, this replaces it. Diagnose the cause before replacing. Made in Japan.
