Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:JH-139
Help keep spark voltage flowing to each plug wire with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap JH-130, made as a direct-fit replacement for the 1983-1986 Toyota Camry and the 1986 Toyota Celica. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-specific application details.
The distributor cap covers the top of the distributor and carries high voltage from the ignition coil to the rotor. The rotor then passes that voltage to the cap's terminals, which feed each spark plug wire. Cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals inside the cap are signs it may need replacing. If a worn cap is behind a misfire, rough running or hard starting, this part replaces it.

Is this distributor cap listed for my 1983-1986 Toyota Camry?
It is listed as a direct-fit replacement for the 1983-1986 Toyota Camry. The Buyer's Guide tab shows the full application details.
Can I use it as a 1986 Toyota Celica distributor cap?
Yes. It is listed for the 1986 Toyota Celica, and the Buyer's Guide tab shows the full application details.
What does a distributor cap do?
It covers the distributor and carries high voltage from the ignition coil, through the rotor, to the terminals that feed each spark plug wire.
What is the JH-130 made of?
Standard makes its distributor caps from high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin. The material is intended to reduce carbon tracking and to resist electrical breakdown.
What are signs a distributor cap may need replacing?
A worn cap can show cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals, and it can cause misfires or hard starting. Other ignition parts can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause first.
