It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1991 Chevrolet Tracker, 1991 GMC Tracker, 1991-1995 Geo Tracker, 1991-1995 Suzuki Sidekick, 1992-1993 Asuna Sunrunner and 1994-1995 Pontiac Sunrunner. Signs a distributor cap may need replacing include engine misfires, hard starting, rough running, visible cracks, carbon tracks inside the cap, or corroded or burned terminals. Other ignition faults can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing parts. It is also a good time to inspect the rotor and spark plug wires.
