Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:JH-218

Keep spark delivered to the right cylinder with the Standard Ignition JH-218, a direct-fit Toyota Supra distributor cap for the 1994-1998 Toyota Supra that also fits the 1993-1997 Lexus GS300 and 1992-1997 Lexus SC300. The cap carries high-voltage ignition current from the spinning rotor to each spark plug wire terminal in the engine's firing order. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.

• Quality control: Standard is a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition products and controls quality at every stage, from componentry to the finished product.
• Cap material: Made of high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin, which is intended to reduce carbon tracking and resist electrical breakdown.
• RFI resistors: Standard fits RFI resistors where specified. They are designed to suppress radio static and help guard against voltage spikes that could damage the ECU.
• Terminals: Where available, solid brass terminals give better connections and greater resistance to electrical pitting and corrosion.

Signs a distributor cap may need replacing include cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals inside the cap. A worn cap can contribute to misfires, hard starting or rough running. Other ignition or fuel faults can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing the cap. When you install the new cap, inspect the rotor as well.
