Standard Ignition Distributor Rotor P/N:GB-373
Help deliver coil voltage to each spark plug in the correct firing order with the Standard Ignition Distributor Rotor GB-365. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1989-1991 Peugeot 405. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
The rotor mounts on the distributor shaft and turns with it. As it sweeps past each outer terminal of the cap, it passes high voltage along from the cap's center terminal. Standard, a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition products, maintains quality control throughout manufacturing, from componentry to the finished product.
Signs a distributor rotor may need replacing include engine misfire, hard starting, rough running, and a rotor tip showing burning, wear, or carbon tracking. If a worn rotor is the cause, GB-365 replaces it. Diagnose the ignition system before replacing parts, since other components can cause the same symptoms.

This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
What does a distributor rotor do?
It turns with the distributor shaft and directs high voltage from the cap's center terminal to each spark plug terminal in firing order.
What vehicle does the Standard GB-365 fit?
It is listed for the 1989-1991 Peugeot 405. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details.
What are signs of a worn distributor rotor?
Misfires, hard starting, rough running, or a burned, worn, or carbon-tracked tip may point to a worn rotor. Diagnose the ignition system first, since other parts can cause the same symptoms.
What materials does Standard use in this rotor?
Standard specifies a high-grade dielectric strength alkyd that resists dirt sticking. It also uses solid brass segments for better conductivity.
What numbers does GB-365 interchange with?
GB-365 cross-references D775, DC913, EP561, and 593744.
