Standard Ignition Evaporative Emissions System Leak Detection Pump P/N:LDP61
Keep your evaporative emissions system checking itself for leaks as designed with the Standard Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pump, MPN LDP29. This direct-fit OE replacement fits the 1998-2003 Dodge Dakota and the 1998-2003 Dodge Durango. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
The leak detection pump uses engine vacuum to test the EVAP system for leaks. This lets the engine computer tell whether fuel vapor is being properly contained. If a failed pump is the cause of your EVAP trouble, this unit replaces it.
Signs this part may need replacing: an illuminated check engine light with stored EVAP leak or leak detection pump codes, a cracked housing, or a damaged connector. EVAP codes can also come from hoses, the fuel cap or other valves, so diagnose the cause before replacing parts.
