Standard Ignition Ignition Switch P/N:US-273
Route power to the ignition and starter circuits at the turn of a key with the Standard Ignition Ignition Starter Switch US-275. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 2003-2009 Chevrolet C4500 Kodiak, 2003-2009 Chevrolet C5500 Kodiak and 2003-2009 Chevrolet C6500 Kodiak.
The ignition switch is the electrical switch your key operates. It sends power to the vehicle's ignition, accessory and starting circuits in each key position. Standard Ignition builds the US-275 around these points:
Signs this switch may need replacing include an engine that does not crank when the key is turned, dash lights or accessories that cut out or do not power up, and intermittent loss of power. Other components can cause these same symptoms, so diagnose the circuit before you replace anything. If a worn ignition switch is the cause, the US-275 replaces it.
