Standard Ignition Neutral Safety Switch P/N:NS-136
The Standard Ignition Neutral Safety Switch NS-139 keeps the starter from cranking your engine unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral, and on many applications it also completes the back-up lamp circuit. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1999-2000 Lexus SC300 and SC400; 1995-2001 Toyota 4Runner; 1995-1999 Toyota Land Cruiser; 1994-1996 Toyota Previa; 1993-1998 Toyota Supra; 1993-1998 Toyota T100; and 1997-2000 and 2004 Toyota Tacoma. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine specifics.
If a failed neutral safety switch is the cause of a no-crank in Park or Neutral, cranking in gear, or inoperative back-up lamps, this replaces it. Diagnose the cause before replacing.
