Standard Ignition Oxygen Sensor Connector P/N:S-817
Keep the signal flowing between your oxygen sensor and the engine wiring harness with the Standard Ignition Oxygen Sensor Connector S-938. It installs as a direct-fit replacement across a wide range of GM cars, trucks, and vans, including the 2008 Buick Enclave, 2011-2017 Chevrolet Equinox, 2007-2012 Chevrolet Colorado, 2001-2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and 2010-2017 GMC Terrain — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of applications.
What it does: This connector provides the electrical link that joins the oxygen (O2) sensor to the vehicle's wiring harness, carrying the sensor's circuits so the engine control module can read exhaust oxygen and adjust the air-fuel ratio.
If a damaged or corroded O2 sensor connector is the cause of an intermittent sensor signal or an oxygen-sensor circuit code, this connector replaces it. Diagnose the cause before replacing, as the same symptoms can come from the sensor itself or other wiring. Manufacturer part number S-938 (also S938).
What is the Standard Ignition S-938?
It's an oxygen sensor connector — the electrical connector that joins an O2 sensor to the vehicle's wiring harness on the listed GM applications.
How many connectors do I need?
Quantity varies by application; some listed vehicles use one and others use two. Check your vehicle's requirement before ordering.
What are signs the connector may need replacing?
Corroded, melted, or broken terminals and an intermittent O2 sensor signal can be signs. Diagnose the cause first, as the sensor or wiring may be at fault.
Does this fit my vehicle?
It's a direct-fit replacement for a range of GM vehicles from 2001-2017. See the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your exact year, make, and model.
Will this connector clear my oxygen-sensor code?
If a damaged O2 sensor connector is the cause of the circuit code, replacing it addresses that. Confirm the diagnosis first, since other faults can trigger the same code.
