Description

Tighten up worn, loose steering with the Delphi front inner tie rod end (P/N TA1831) — a direct-fit replacement built with Delphi's OE steering expertise. It fits the 1990-1997 and 1999-2003 Mazda Miata (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level applications), making it a solid choice for na Miata tie rods that have gone loose or notchy.

A tie rod end links the steering system to the wheel and transmits steering input; a worn joint may show up as play in the wheel, uneven or accelerated tire wear, or a clunk and wander when steering. If a failed inner joint is the cause, this replaces it.
