Front Lower Ball Joint for 2004-2008 Ford F-150 & More - Mevotech TTX TXK80149

An application-specific ball stud system uses a larger sphere. The joint press fits accurately at its larger flange diameter, and the thicker, stronger flange is designed to prevent deformation during installation. Pre-applied nylok thread adhesive helps keep fasteners secure and resistant to vibration. Knurling gives a snugger fit between connecting points to help avoid distortion and corrosion.

A lower ball joint may need replacing if you notice clunking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear or play at the wheel. Have the front end diagnosed before replacing parts.
