Dorman - OE Solutions Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:524-524
Replace a worn front left lower arm in one step with this Dorman control arm with ball joint, part number 524-839, which comes with the ball joint and bushings already installed. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2014-2020 Nissan Rogue, 2017-2023 Nissan Qashqai and 2017-2022 Nissan Rogue Sport. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
The lower control arm connects the steering knuckle to the vehicle's chassis. It lets the wheel travel with the suspension while holding it in position. The ball joint gives the knuckle its pivot point for steering and suspension movement.
Signs this part may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, and uneven tire wear. If a worn arm, ball joint or bushing is the cause, this unit replaces all three at once. It is sold individually for the front left lower position. Replacing both sides together is recommended for balanced handling.
