Its components and valving are designed specifically for GM trucks, restoring the vehicle's original damping capabilities.

Two working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.
Up to 25% more damping than original-equipment shocks, with extra damping over the OE design for trucks that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
High-pressure monotube design separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response.
Triple chrome-plated piston rod is ultra-smooth to reduce seal wear; since leaking fluid can be a cause of shock failure, this addresses that wear point.
