This front shock installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2016-2019 and 2021-2024 Ford F-650 and the 2016-2019 and 2021-2024 Ford F-750. Its nitrogen gas charge delivers the fast response heavy-duty truck suspensions demand, helping maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration and shock fade.
Consistent ride: All-weather fluid with special additives handles extreme temperatures and helps reduce oil breakdown, while a larger 2-3/8-in. reserve tube holds more fluid (most applications).
Exceptional handling: 10-stage valving tuned to each vehicle adjusts to road extremes, and the larger 1-3/4-in. bore provides more efficient damping control for a smooth ride (most applications).
Strong and durable: A shouldered bushing plus a bonded bushing with sleeve protects against bushing walkout, with arc welds up to 360° for durability.
Longer service life: A PTFE-coated bearing reduces friction between the rod and rod guide, and a nitrocarburized piston rod adds durability (most applications).
