Description

Help restore proper ride height and factory handling on your GM SUV with the KYB strut assembly SR4073, a front, pre-assembled complete strut and coil spring assembly. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2002-2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2002-2007 GMC Envoy and 2002-2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT; see the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine-level detail. As a strut assembly it handles vehicle weight, determines ride height, acts as the steering pivot and controls vehicle stability. From KYB, an OE shock and strut supplier, this KYB Strut-Plus is engineered to help restore the handling and control capabilities of your vehicle.

KYB Excel-G strut: a stronger steel outer shell with KYB's application-specific precision-designed damping valves.
High-carbon steel coil spring: developed considering vehicle attributes and corner weights to help keep ride height within OE specifications.
Application engineered: exact fitment engineered and pre-assembled for professional results; assembled in USA.
Electronic safety systems: engineered to help vehicles with electronic safety systems (ESC, ABS, etc.).

Sold individually as one front corner unit; replacing both sides together as a matched pair is recommended for balanced ride and handling.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the KYB Strut-Plus SR4073?

It is one of KYB's complete struts — a front strut and coil spring assembly built with a KYB Excel-G strut, application-specific damping valves and a high-carbon steel coil spring, pre-assembled as a corner unit.

Will this KYB quick strut assembly fit my vehicle?

It is a front direct-fit application for vehicles such as the 2002-2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2002-2007 GMC Envoy and 2002-2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT. Check the "Vehicles it fits" section to confirm your exact year and model.

Does SR4073 come fully assembled?

Yes. It ships pre-assembled with the strut, mount and spring together, so no spring compressor is needed to build the corner unit before installation.

Should I replace both front struts at once?

This KYB front strut assembly is sold individually as one corner. Replacing both sides together as a matched pair is recommended for even, balanced ride height and handling.

Where is the KYB strut plus assembly made?

It is assembled in the USA, with exact fitment engineered and pre-assembled for professional results.
