TERREPOWER formerly BBB Industries Rack and Pinion Assembly P/N:313-0161
TERREPOWER 313-0318 rack and pinion for the 2005-2007 Subaru Impreza and other vehicles is a remanufactured unit that turns steering wheel input into wheel movement. This hydraulic rack and pinion assembly replaces a worn one.
Loose or heavy steering, a whine when turning, or fluid residue around the rack can mean it is wearing out. Before you replace it, rule out loose hose fittings, a weak power steering pump or worn outer tie rods, which can give similar steering symptoms. Each vehicle takes one rack, a single unit that connects both wheels of the steering axle.
This rack and pinion fits the 2005-2007 Subaru Impreza and the 2005 Saab 9-2X.
