Keep spark firing to the right cylinder with the ThunderSpark Distributor Cap 925-1034 (also written 9251034), a direct-fit replacement for the 1988-1991 Toyota 4Runner and 1988-1991 Toyota Pickup. In a conventional distributor-based ignition system, the cap directs high-voltage current from the ignition coil to the correct spark plug through the rotor and internal terminals. Over time distributor caps can suffer carbon tracking, cracking, or corrosion — signs this cap may need replacing include misfires, hard starting, and drivability issues.
