TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft P/N:FD-86036
TrakMotive HY-86036 front right CV axle shaft for the 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata and other vehicles carries drive torque from the transmission to the wheel. This TrakMotive CV axle shaft has joints that let the wheel steer and move with the suspension while it is driven.
A clicking or popping noise on turns, vibration while driving, or grease thrown from a torn boot can mean a CV axle is worn. Before you replace the shaft, rule out a worn wheel bearing, a tire problem or a loose wheel, which can feel similar.
It fits the 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata and the 2016-2020 Kia Optima. The front axle takes one shaft per side. This listing is the front right shaft; the front left is a separate part, and the two on that axle are normally replaced at the same time.
