Keep grit and wear particles out of the steering fluid on your truck with the Wix power steering filter 57557, a WIX Power Steering Cartridge Filter. It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, which cover many trucks, among them the 1987-2023 Kenworth T800, 1988-2008 Freightliner FLD120 and 1994-2023 Kenworth W900.
A power steering filter strains the fluid as it circulates through the system. It captures debris that could otherwise wear the pump, steering gear and valves. The 57557 is part of the WIX HD power steering filter line.
- Application-specific media: WIX selects the filter media for each application. Its HD power steering line uses wire-backed synthetic, enhanced cellulose and wire mesh media.
- Corrosion-resistant build: Made with high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials, center tubes and end caps.
- Sealing components: Designed for leak resistance.
- Service-interval ready: WIX recommends its filters for OEM power steering filter change intervals.
Use the 57557 cartridge at your truck's scheduled filter change or when servicing contaminated steering fluid. The "Vehicles it fits" section lists the full range of applications, including Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, International, Ford, Sterling and more.
