Help keep the fluid circulating through your automatic transmission clean with the WIX Automatic Transmission Filter Kit 58140. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2002-2006 and 2013 Nissan Altima, the 2004-2007 Nissan Maxima and the 2004-2009 Nissan Quest. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine details.

• No-bypass design: The filter is designed and built so that unfiltered fluid cannot slip past its application-specific filtration media.
• Lock-seamed, sealed assembly: Lock-seamed, sealed construction works with application-specific sealing components to help route all fluid through the media.
• Sealing gaskets included: The kit comes with sealing gaskets designed specifically for use with today's sophisticated transmission fluids.

An automatic transmission filter catches debris and wear particles carried in the transmission fluid. Over time the filter loads up with contaminants. Signs that the filter may need replacing include delayed or harsh shifts, slipping, or a whining noise from the transmission. These symptoms can have other causes, so diagnose the transmission before you replace parts. A new filter and gaskets are commonly installed as part of a transmission fluid service. Follow the vehicle service information for the correct fluid and procedure.
