Four Seasons A/C Accumulator P/N:33352
Keep your air conditioning dry, clean, and protected with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator, MPN 33072. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1997 Ford Aerostar (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level applications), taking on the accumulator / filter-drier job in the AC circuit.
This unit acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants that circulate through the system — contaminants that flushing alone cannot clear, which is why replacing the accumulator / filter-drier during service is important. Moisture is captured by an internal desiccant bag; a leaking or "open" system can saturate that bag within a few hours, leaving the old accumulator ineffective.
Backed by Four Seasons' decades of mobile A/C experience and produced in an ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 certified facility. Note: many compressor warranties require the accumulator / filter-drier to be replaced anytime the system is serviced — check your service information.
What does this accumulator do?
It acts as a filter-drier, removing moisture and contaminants from the air conditioning system and capturing moisture in an internal desiccant bag so it doesn't circulate with the refrigerant.
Does it fit my vehicle?
MPN 33072 is a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1997 Ford Aerostar. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm engine-level fitment for your vehicle.
Are seals and o-rings included?
Yes. The necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included for easier installation.
Why replace the accumulator when servicing the A/C?
Flushing cannot remove all contaminants, and a saturated desiccant bag becomes ineffective. Many compressor warranties also require replacing the accumulator/filter-drier anytime the system is serviced.
How is it built?
It features quality welds for a durable, leak-free design and high-quality desiccant, produced in an ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 certified facility.
