This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
What does this receiver drier do?
It acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants from the A/C system. These contaminants can't be removed by flushing, so the drier is replaced to keep the system clean and dry.
Does this kit include everything needed to install it?
Yes. The kit includes the desiccant bag and plug, plus the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal for installation.
When should the receiver drier be replaced?
Replace it any time the A/C system is opened for service. A leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant bag within a few hours, making the drier ineffective.
Does this part fit my vehicle?
It fits many Audi models such as the 2017-2025 Q7, 2019-2024 A8, 2019-2024 Q8 and the 2016-2021 Mercedes-Benz Metris. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your exact application.
Is replacing the drier related to the compressor warranty?
Yes. Replacement of the drier is required to validate the compressor warranty and it must be replaced any time the system is serviced.
