This new hydraulic pump is built as a direct replacement for failed OEM units. AAE strongly recommends replacing the steering fluid reservoir along with the pump, because a clogged reservoir can starve the replacement. This unit comes with a reservoir. Flush the steering system and fill it with an OE-approved power steering fluid. Consult the vehicle service information for the correct mounting fasteners and whether they may be reused.
