Generate the hydraulic pressure that powers your steering assist with the Atlantic Automotive Engineering (AAE) New Hydraulic Power Steering Pump 6250N. This new — not remanufactured — pump drops in as a direct replacement for a failed OEM unit across a broad run of Dodge trucks and vans, including the 1985-1991 B150, 1985-1993 B250 and B350, 1986-1993 D150/D250 and W150/W250, 1986-1991 D350, W350 and Ramcharger, plus the 1985-1986 Jeep Cherokee and 1986 Jeep Comanche (all engines). See the Buyer's Guide tab for the complete application list.

The pump moves pressurized power steering fluid to the steering gear to provide hydraulic assist. Whining or groaning noise, hard or heavy steering, and fluid leaks are signs the original pump may need replacing — diagnose the cause before ordering, and if a worn pump is the cause, this unit replaces it.

  • New and 100% tested: each unit is hydraulically tested under load in the USA prior to shipment.
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications in performance, fit and function.
  • Includes the reservoir, reservoir cap and return pipe adapter; clamp-on inlet and threaded outlet. AAE recommends replacing a clogged reservoir so it can't starve the new pump.
  • No core charge. Pulley, mounting hardware and filter are not included — transfer or source them as directed by the service procedure.

Flush and fill the system with an OE-approved power steering fluid. Country of origin: China. Manufacturer part number 6250N.
