What does this fuel/water separator filter do?
It filters the diesel fuel and separates water from the fuel so contaminants and moisture don't reach the injection system. Collected water can be drained from the base.
What sensor does the sensor port fit?
The sensor port has an M14 x 2.0 thread and is intended for use with the Deutz square sensor. A reusable sensor and a standpipe are part of the design.
Does it come with an O-ring?
Yes. A furnished O-ring is included and must be installed on the post to properly seal the assembly during installation.
Is this the same as the BF1272-SPS?
No. Baldwin notes that the BF1293-SPS is NOT interchangeable with the BF1272-SPS, so confirm the correct part number for your application before ordering.
What are the filter's dimensions and thread?
It uses a 1-14 spin-on thread and measures 3 11/16 in (93.7 mm) in outside diameter and 10 1/32 in (254.8 mm) in height.
