A torn CV boot lets grease sling out and dirt and water in, so a fresh boot is what protects the joint from contamination and premature wear. This kit is application-specific for the listed vehicles — not a universal boot — and covers various axle positions depending on the vehicle (front outer, front inner, rear outer and rear inner among them), so match it to your axle and position.
