CARDONE New CV Axle Assembly P/N:66-1508
A1 CARDONE 66-7010 front right CV axle for the 1985-1992 Volkswagen Jetta and other vehicles carries drive torque from the transmission to the front right wheel. Sold new as a CV axle assembly, it was engineered after studying why original axles fail.
A broken engine mount, a worn hub bearing or a damaged ABS sensor ring can be behind a thump, vibration or an ABS light as well, so find the cause before buying an axle. Clicking when you turn under power, or grease around a torn boot, can mean the joint is worn.
It fits the 1985-1992 Volkswagen Jetta and the 1985-1992 Volkswagen Golf, and is built to O.E. form, fit and function. The front axle takes one on each side: this listing is the front right, the front left is a separate part, and the two sides are normally replaced at the same time.
