Help keep rear braking smooth and consistent with the CARDONE Reman Brake Caliper 18-B5290, a remanufactured unloaded caliper supplied with its mounting bracket for the rear left position. This disc brake caliper uses hydraulic pressure from the brake system to press the pads against the rotor. CARDONE remanufactures each unit to strict quality and performance standards with brand-new components, and every caliper is 100% pressure-tested.

  • Pistons: durable, resistant to cracking and pitting, and built to handle heavy loads.
  • Seals: the rubber seals are replaced with new high-temperature EPDM rubber.
  • Bleeding and ports: new bleeder screws allow easy bleeding and provide a positive seal, and a plastic cap plug protects every brake port thread.

As an unloaded caliper, it does not include brake pads. Banjo bolts, washers, hardware clips and mounting pins are supplied where applicable. The caliper is sold individually, and replacing the right rear caliper at the same time is recommended for even, balanced braking. CARDONE notes that its remanufacturing process cuts the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.
