• Chains are pre-stressed and heat-treated
• Precision pitch control for chain-to-sprocket fit, which reduces noise and fatigue
• CAD-designed, heat-treated sprockets with a precision-tooled tooth form, bore, off-set and timing index
• Each part is production tested for individual part performance and system fit

Quick facts

• Part: Cloyes 9-0391SBVVT timing chain kit
• Also called: engine timing chain kit
• Fits: 2004-2010 Ford F-150 V8 5.4L and other vehicles
• Condition: New

A rattle from the front of the engine, rough running or a timing-related check engine light can mean the chain, guides or tensioner are worn. Before you replace the kit, rule out other causes of the same symptoms, such as a sensor or an ignition problem. Replace all the engine timing components together for total timing system integrity.
